Swift Church of Christ
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and our guide for faith, worship, and Christian living.
Our desire is to be Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and the example of His church as revealed in the New Testament.
Whether you have studied the Bible for years or are beginning to explore its message, we invite you to open God's Word, learn, and grow in your understanding of His will.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path."
Psalm 119:105 — KJV
What We Believe
Simply Following the New Testament
Our aim is to follow the teaching and example of Jesus Christ and His apostles, making Scripture the foundation of our faith.
Jesus Christ Is Our Savior
We proclaim Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again, offering salvation through Him.
Faith and Obedience
We teach the New Testament response to the Gospel, including faith, repentance, confession of Christ, and baptism for the remission of sins.
New Testament Worship
We seek to worship according to the pattern given in Scripture, with prayer, teaching, congregational singing, and the Lord's Supper.
Christian Fellowship
Christians are called to encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, and grow together in love and truth.
Restoring the Original Church
Our goal is to follow the teachings and practices of the church described in the New Testament rather than human traditions.
